Shift times: Tue - Sat 11:30 - 20:00 (includes 30mins unpaid break); Thu - Mon (Thu, Fri, Sat 03:30 - 12:00 & Sun, Mon 11:30 - 20:00) (includes 30mins unpaid break)
Start date: Monday 18th August 2025
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader with excellent experience in supervising a team of drivers providing guidance and support to enhance performance and ongoing development.
- Supervise a team of drivers providing guidance and support to enhance performance and ongoing development
- Co-ordination & allocation of driver duties in line with driving and working time regulations
- Monitoring & manage performance
- Reporting & handling any exception which may arise during the shift
- Pre-shift meetings / briefings
- End of shift debrief and handovers
- Driver safety
- Knowledge or experience of DVSA compliance regulations (e.g. driver\'s hours, WTD, tachograph laws, vehicle maintenance scheduling) & Health & Safety
- Supporting the business to maintain the obligations of the Operator\'s Licence by maintaining accurate records of vehicle maintenance, driver compliance etc.
- Liaise with internal departments to achieve despatch / delivery timelines
- Monitor vehicle movements using telematics / GPS tracking systems
- Accident investigations
- Microsoft Office experience
- Telematics experience advantageous
- Tachograph systems experience advantageous
- Free Parking
- Ability to progress fast within the company
