  • Isolation gates
  • Inspection of chambers and valve equipment
  • Oil equipment inspection, including draining and replacing oil systems
  • Inspection of fixed equipment (fixed ladders, safety bars, grills, etc.)
  • Utilising tooling and measuring equipment, in accordance with engineering drawings and layouts
  • Operating lifting equipment and following approved procedures for plant equipment transportation
  • Supporting reactive works during breakdowns
What's essential?
  • Previous experience as a fitter
  • Trained or qualified as an apprentice, or to an equivalent NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering
  • Successful completion of ONC/HNC in Engineering, NVQ, or C&G Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong focus on safety and quality, with a collaborative teamwork approach
  • Full UK driver’s licence

  • Experience with mobile plant (FLT, MEWP)
  • Work at height certification
  • Manual handling qualification
  • Confined space entry experience
  • Pendent crane use experience

  • Employee assistance programme
  • My Rewards portal, access to 1,000’s of retail discounts
  • Life assurance
  • Cycle to work scheme
