Level of Experience: Trainee Remedial Plumber through to Lead Remedial Plumber

Profile

A national and busy Water Hygiene company working on Social Housing, Educational, Healthcare, Manufacturing and Leisure sites. They are now seeking to employ a qualified and hardworking Remedial Plumber based in and around the Sheffield area. The successful candidate will hold the City and Guilds L2/L3 qualification in Plumbing and will have experience carrying out on‑site fault finding, diagnosing issues, signing off work, CWST refurbishment and install, TMV servicing, installing and rerouting copper and PVC pipework.

Eligible Locations (consideration): Rotherham, Chesterfield, Mansfield, Barnsley, Dodworth, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Normanton, Castleford, Batley, Leeds, Halifax, Dewsbury, Bradford, Shipley, Horsforth.

Experience & Qualifications

• Hold the City and Guilds or NVQ (L2/L3) Plumbing qualification.
• Ideally have experience working within the Legionella industry, working for an established company.
• Excellent knowledge of HTM 04-01 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Competent in using handheld PDA / Tablet systems.

Role

• Carrying out on‑site fault finding, diagnosing problems, and dealing with any issues in a timely manner.
• Installing and rerouting copper and PVC pipework.
• Dead leg removals and pipework rerouting.
• Expansion valve installations.
• Comparing checks in relation to plumbing works and signing off.
• Undertaking CWST refurbishments and installs.
• Carrying out TMV servicing and installs.
• Utilising G3 Certificate (if held) to undertake servicing and installs on cylinders.
• Ensuring all work is carried out in line with Health and Safety legislations.
• Using handheld PDA / Tablet systems to produce accurate reports for clients.
• Building and maintaining excellent working rapport with clients.
