Profile

Our client is a successfully multi‑discipline Health and Safety consultancy who offer a range of professional services to clients across the UK. Due to current business requirements, they are not looking for an experienced Health & Safety/ Fire Consultant based in and around the Birmingham area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working within a health & safety / fire capacity and must hold the NEBOSH Fire certificate or NEBOSH Fire Conversion, carrying out fire risk and health and safety assessments across a mixed range of sites.

Applications will be considered from the following locations: Wolverhampton, Tamworth, Solihull, Bromsgrove, Coventry, Worcester, Kidderminster, Redditch, Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Beeston, Long Eaton, Bingham.

Experience & Qualifications

• Must hold the NEBOSH Fire Certificate or NEBOSH Fire Conversion – ISE/IFSM/IFPO/IFE registered or fire trained NVQ levels.
• Possess the relevant NEBOSH, CMIOSH, NEBOSH L5 – Health & Safety qualifications are essential.
• Holding the P402 or asbestos surveying experience would be advantageous.
• Will have a solid consultancy and technical background within the health & safety/fire risk industry.
• Experience of working on a wide range of properties including commercial, industrial, and public sector.
• Fully conversant with Health & Safety procedures.
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
