Profile

Our client is a well‑established multi‑discipline environmental consultancy providing environmental services to industrial, healthcare, housing, local authority and leisure clients across the UK. Due to business needs, they are looking for a motivated Water Hygiene Engineer with extensive experience in temperature monitoring, TMV servicing and repairs, and showerhead descales in line with ACOP L8 guidelines.

Applications will be considered from: Nottingham, Leicester, Stafford, Stoke‑on‑Trent, Burton upon Trent, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Solihull, Loughborough, Coventry.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in the water hygiene / water treatment industry
  • Well versed in ACOP L8 and relevant health and safety legislation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
Role
  • Undertake tank cleans, descales, remedial works, flushing systems and disinfections of main water systems
  • Cleaning and chlorination of hot and cold water systems and cooling towers
  • Change and replace tanks
  • Conduct temperature monitoring
  • Routine sampling and analysis of water systems
  • Use site information to produce detailed reports for clients
