Job summary
An educational recruitment agency is seeking a proactive School Site Manager for a school in Dudley. This full-time, temporary role requires oversight of the school's maintenance and security while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. - Previous experience as a School Caretaker or Site Manager.
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage workload independently.
- Must hold a current Enhanced DBS and be available to start immediately.

- Carry out minor repairs, general DIY tasks, and gritting when required.
- Manage and monitor Health & Safety compliance, including fire alarm testing.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, Split Shift: 7:00am – 10:30am & 2:00pm – 6:00pm
We are seeking a proactive and dependable Site Manager to join a school in the Dudley area. This hands‑on role is vital to ensuring the smooth running, safety, and general maintenance of the school site. The ideal candidate will have strong practical skills, excellent organisation, and a commitment to creating a safe and welcoming environment for staff and pupils.
- Oversee the day‑to‑day maintenance and security of the school site.
- Carry out minor repairs, general DIY tasks, and gritting when required.
- Manage and monitor Health & Safety compliance, including fire alarm testing, Legionella checks, and risk assessments.
- Ensure the site is clean, safe, and fully operational.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers as necessary.
- Support school events with setup and site logistics.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and compliance activities.
- Previous experience as a School Caretaker or Site Manager.
- Strong maintenance and practical DIY skills.
- Good understanding of compliance and Health & Safety regulations (e.g., Fire Safety, Legionella).
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage workload independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must hold a current Enhanced DBS and be available to start immediately.
