Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking Production Operatives for a temporary role in Bury St Edmunds. The position involves working on a rotating shift pattern and requires candidates to perform duties such as completing safety checks, supporting product delivery, weighing products, and assisting in the cooking process. Previous experience in a production environment is beneficial, and candidates must be physically fit and available to start immediately.
Qualifications
- Must commit to rotating shifts on an ongoing basis.
- Previous production experience is advantageous.
- Ability to adhere to Health & Safety regulations.
- Must be available to start immediately.
- Physically fit for the role.
Responsibilities
- Complete pre‑start checks and safety checks.
- Support product delivery within the production facility.
- Weighing and measuring of product.
- Packing finished products and labelling for dispatch.
- Assisting in the cooking process for products.
Skills
Rotating weekly: Monday - Thursday, 5:48 am - 2:00 pm / Friday 5:48 am - 12:00 pm AND Monday - Thursday, 1:48 pm - 10:00 pm / Friday 11:48 am - 6:00 pm
- Accurately complete pre‑start checks and safety checks throughout the shift
- Support with product delivery within the production facility
- Weighing and measuring of product for production
- Packing finished product from conveyor belt and labelling ready for dispatch
- Supporting in the cooking process for finished product
- Applicants must be able to commit to the rotating shift pattern (rotates weekly) on an ongoing basis
- Previous experience in a factory/production/warehouse environment advantageous
- Able to work in line with Health & Safety
- Available to start work immediately
- Physically fit
