• Prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.
• Analyse and minimise tax liabilities through informed application of tax laws and regulations.
• Identify tax savings and propose tax strategies that impact the company's financial performance.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors during audits.
• Stay abreast of developments in tax laws and regulations to manage potential tax implications.
• Support the tax department with ad-hoc projects and tasks.
• Provide tax advice and guidance to other departments within the company.
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax forms.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Tax Accountant should have:

• Recognised professional qualification in taxation (qualified or part-qualified CTA)
• Strong knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in tax software and databases.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
