As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll help shape Riverford’s future.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be joining a small Talent team, part of the wider People team. You’ll report to the Talent Acquisition Manager and handle the full journey of hourly paid, high-volume recruitment; from writing inclusive job adverts and reaching out to great people, to making offers, supporting interviews and making sure every candidate has a brilliant experience from start to finish.

Internal recruitment and development matters just as much as external—especially in a co-owned business like ours where we grow people from within. You’ll support co-owners as they explore new opportunities and guide them through each step of the process.

Salary: £31,546 - £33,000 per annum d.o.e

Location - Wash Farm, Buckfastleigh, Devon, TQ11 0JU. - Reliable transportation is required to commute to Wash Farm, as it is not accessible by public transport routes.

Hours - The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We encourage flexitime and hybrid working. This role can be remote with a requirement to be on-site when needed, or based at our HQ at Wash Farm

What We’re Looking For…

• Experience designing and running engaging recruitment campaigns (agency or in-house) that connect with the right audiences and reflect the values of a purpose-led organisation
• An ability to work with hiring managers—guiding them through the recruitment process with clarity, challenge and support
• A collaborative approach to working with colleagues across People Business Partnering, Learning & Development and People Operations
• Confidence in candidate-facing activity—comfortable with screening, shortlisting, coordinating interviews, managing offers, and giving clear, constructive feedback
• A keen eye for writing job adverts and selecting the right channels—whether that’s job boards, social media, or internal communications
• A good grasp of recruitment trends and best practice, with a willingness to bring in fresh ideas and ways of working
