Job summary
A well-established accountancy firm in Maidstone is seeking a part-time Tax Executive to ensure accurate and timely completion of Personal Tax Returns. The ideal candidate will be ATT/CTA qualified or have relevant experience in accountancy. This role offers a flexible working environment and requires a methodical approach with high attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Comfortable preparing self-assessment tax returns.
- Familiar with a range of accountancy software, training provided.
- Background in an accountancy firm is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Personal Tax Returns are completed accurately and on time.
- File with HMRC.
- Liaise with clients to gather necessary information.
- Resolve any queries.

ProTalent are currently working with a well-established Top 20 accountancy firm in Maidstone to recruit a Tax Executive on a part time basis (three or four days)
- Well-established accountancy firm with a network of offices
- Provide a full range of accountancy services to a wide range of clients
- Friendly working environment
- Offering flexibility in terms of working hours, smart working etc
- Ensuring that Personal Tax Returns are completed accurately and within deadlines
- Filing with HMRC
- Liaising with clients to ensure all information is present and correct
- Solving any queries
- Be ATT/CTA qualified or part qualified. although applicants with AAT/ACCA/ACA with a keen interest in Tax will be considered.
- Be comfortable preparing self assessment tax returns
- Familiar with a range of accountancy software, although full software training will be provided
- Will have a background in an accountancy firm
- High attention to detail
