The successful candidate will Contribute to the aims of the nursery, working as part of a team and in close partnership with parents and families.
- Observing, assessing and recording children's progress.
- Be an effective key person.
- Planning and evaluating activities to ensure that the children's needs and interests are being met.
- Working in partnership with parents, building strong professional relationships.
- Working with the children as appropriate to their development and individual needs.
- Providing an inclusive service for care and education ensuring that activities planned and carried out are sensitive to and reflect the diverse background of the children.
- The preparation and completion of activities to suit each individual child's stage of development.
- Be responsible for keeping and updating records and individual portfolios.
- Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children.
