We are looking for a forward-thinking Lecturer in Strength & Conditioning and Sport Coaching to join our dynamic School of Education, Sport and Health Sciences. Our internationally recognised sport programmes are supported by state-of-the-art facilities, including advanced laboratories and performance centres, and benefit from strong partnerships with industry leaders and community organisations. We’re seeking an educator with expertise in Strength & Conditioning and Sport Coaching who can inspire students through engaging, high-quality teaching. Whether your background is in academia or professional practice, we value your experience and will support you in developing your research interests and contributing to our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

In order to be successful in this role you should have:

• A relevant degree in Sport Coaching, Strength & Conditioning or Sport & Exercise Science or related field and a post graduate qualification
• Be a UK Strength & Conditioning Association accredited S&C coach
• A Higher Education teaching qualification and/or an HEA Fellowship, or willingness to undertake this within the first 12 months
• Up-to-date, sound knowledge of professional landscape and current developments in sport coaching.
• Professional experience and qualifications in coaching
• Experience of leading and implementing creative approaches to developing teaching and learning.
