If you live and breathe Football, love technology, understand what great digital experiences look like, and want to help shape the product millions of fans use every day — this is the role for you.

The Role

As a Sports Product Specialist – (Football), you will act as DAZN’s dedicated subject-matter expert for your sport. You will continuously test the DAZN app, monitor content journeys, identify bugs or friction points, analyse competitor platforms, and feed insights directly into our product and engineering teams.

This is a junior–mid level role, but requires strong passion, deep knowledge of the sport, and an eye for detail. You will help ensure DAZN not only delivers stable, high-quality streams — but also creates a world-class fan experience aligned to the expectations of Football audiences globally.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Test DAZN’s user experience for Football, monitoring end-to-end journeys and identifying UI/UX friction, bugs, latency, or navigation issues.
  • Compare DAZN against competitor apps to highlight gaps, strengths, and areas to improve.
  • Provide structured, ongoing product feedback from a true fan’s perspective.
  • Analyse match/event flows, metadata, scheduling, publishing, and content discoverability.
  • Test new product features and updates, validating quality before and after release.
  • Identify inconsistencies, broken journeys, or platform issues unique to your sport.
  • Document findings clearly and share insights with Product, UX, Engineering, and Operations.
  • Review live and non-live content performance to ensure a polished experience for fans.
  • Support development of sport-specific user journeys, personalisation, and engagement ideas.
  • Be an internal ambassador for Football, bringing fan expectations into every discussion.
What You’ll Bring:
  • Deep passion, knowledge, and understanding of Football— teams, leagues, scheduling, culture, and how fans consume the sport digitally.
  • Strong interest in digital products, UX, apps, streaming, or sports technology.
  • Ability to spot problems quickly, think critically, and articulate clear product feedback.
  • Experience testing apps, content journeys, or digital workflows (desirable but not essential).
  • Detail-oriented mindset with curiosity to explore, compare, and analyse.
  • Excellent communication skills for writing clear feedback, reports, and issue summaries.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across Product, Tech, UX, and Operations.
  • Comfort working flexible hours around major sporting events when needed.
