TheRole:
AleadingdigitalconsultancyisseekingaHeadofDeliverytoleadtheirprojectdeliveryfunctionacrossweb,app,andplatformbuildsforhigh-profileclients.Thisisaseniorleadershiprolethatcombinesstrategicoversightwithhands-oninvolvementinmajordigitalprogrammes.Youwillberesponsibleforensuringdeliveryexcellence,commercialefficiency,andcontinuousimprovementacrossavariedportfolioofwork.
You’llguideatalentedteamofDeliveryManagers,shapedeliveryframeworks,andplayakeyroleinpre-salesactivitiesandprojectkick-offs.Idealforsomeonecommerciallyaware,process-savvy,andpassionateaboutbuildingsuccessfulclientoutcomes.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Defineandevolvescalabledeliverymethodologies(Agile,Waterfall,Hybrid)suitedtovaryingclientneeds.
- Supportpre-saleseffortsbyhelpingscope,estimate,anddefinedeliveryapproaches.
- Leadthesetupofstrategic,high-valueengagements(£500k–£1m+),includingbudgeting,planning,andstakeholderalignment.
- LinemanageanddevelopateamofDeliveryManagers,fosteringgrowthandexcellence.
- Actasaseniorescalationpointforclientanddeliverychallenges.
KeyExperience:
- Strongexperienceinaseniordeliveryrolewithinadigitalagencyorconsultancy.
- ExpertiseinAgileandhybridmethodologies,withflexibilitytoadaptperproject.
- Commerciallyastutewithexperiencemanagingprojectprofitabilityandreporting.
- KnowledgeofheadlessCMS,eCommerceplatforms,andexperiencewithDXPs(e.g.,Optimizely)isastrongplus.
- Skilledinstakeholdermanagement,withconfidenceliaisingattheC-suitelevel.
- Experiencementoringandgrowingdeliveryorprojectmanagementteams.
- Calmandpragmaticunderpressure,abletojugglemultiplepriorities.
