Electrical Project Manager

PAYE/LTD/CIS

Electrical Project Manager needed within the Cambridge area, close to Haverhill, Cambridge, Bury St Edmonds, Duxford and Essex.

My client is looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a strong background in commercial installation for the expansion of a prison located in Cambridgeshire.

Duties

• Oversee and manage the full delivery of a complex electrical installation, including cut and carve works, within a prison environment.
• Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly progress reports, monitor project milestones, and manage the overall programme.
• Ensure technical quality on site by advising operatives and resolving issues as they arise.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and subcontractors, demonstrating confidence in a client-facing role.
• Ensure full compliance with all on-site Health and Safety regulations.

Requirements

• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and installation methodology.
• Previous experience as an Electrician before stepping up to management.
• Able to work full time on site in southwest and travel occasionally if required.
• Confident communicator with the ability to represent the company to clients and stakeholders.
• Previous experience working in high security projects specifically prisons.
