We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our friendly and professional team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year’s experience working in a veterinary practice or similar role and a passion for providing outstanding client service. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional care to our clients and their pets. You’ll be joining a supportive, forward-thinking environment that values teamwork, personal growth, and a genuine love for animals.

• Your focus is to provide an exceptional service to our clients and the best care possible to their pets - providing a link between clients and the clinical team.
• Your ability to build strong relationships with our clients, their pets and the practice team will be critical to your success.
• Your great client service during a client’s visit will make sure that their absolute satisfaction is given, and that the client leaves knowing that they have received exceptional service and look forward to their next visit.
• You will greet each client and offer support, guidance, and expertise, managing payments and future bookings confidently.
• Coordinating the smooth running of the day-to-day routines of the practice will be done using our online booking system, so computer literacy is a must.

This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week (part-time candidates working 30+ hours per week will also be considered)

• You have a minimum of one year’s experience working in a veterinary reception or similar role.
• You are the friendly and welcoming face for our clients and their pets when they arrive at the practice.
• You stay well-informed about our practice services and confidently guide clients through the options available to them.
• You remain calm, attentive, and focused on always delivering an exceptional client experience.
• You bring enthusiasm, drive, and a genuine passion for both people and pets to everything you do.
• You handle every situation with professionalism and empathy - whether it’s comforting a client during a difficult moment or celebrating the joy of a new puppy’s first visit.
• Your positive energy and warm personality help create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for clients and colleagues alike.
