The Market Specialist team supports our Sales teams and partners with our Product Development teams, serving as subject matter experts within Bloomberg. In this role, you will consult with senior decision makers at client accounts, help close new sales opportunities, and provide feedback to shape our tools and services. You will also promote Bloomberg Professional Service at market events and through printed materials, representing our company.

The team includes individuals with diverse backgrounds and skills from the buyside, sellside, and market participants. Our core responsibilities are to enhance user experience, increase sales revenue, improve our sales force's knowledge, and serve as a feedback source for product development. Team members also showcase their expertise through writing and speaking engagements.

• Utilize your market experience, industry knowledge, and technical skills to generate revenue through our terminal, data products, and enterprise solutions.
• Advise clients on challenges and how our products can address them.
• Develop an understanding of the competitive landscape and its impact on customers.
• Influence product development through thought leadership and relationship-building.
• Create and execute a personal initiative roadmap aligned with market and company goals.
• Participate in new projects supporting departmental and firm-wide objectives.
• Seek additional impact opportunities such as mentoring, training, campaigns, and product feedback.

• Experience in Equity Research, Investment Banking, Accounting, Corporate IR, or Strategy within the energy sector.
• Extensive relationships with energy industry corporates and market participants.
• Strong modeling, valuation, and financial statement knowledge.
• Passion for equity markets and energy industry metrics.
• Judgment and decision-making skills to impact business success.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
• Proactive, collaborative approach without reliance on hierarchy.
• Experience with Bloomberg Terminal or similar financial data services.
• Willingness to travel across Europe as needed.

• Deep knowledge of Bloomberg products and data.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and network-building skills.
• Experience managing customer relationships.
• Strong analytical skills and data validation ability.
• Curiosity and innovation in data and workflow improvements.
• Knowledge of analytical tools like Jupiter Books or coding in Python is a plus.
