Job summary
A leading retail company in Bedford is seeking a Temporary Sales Assistant for the Christmas period to provide exceptional customer service and support store operations. The ideal candidate should be adaptable and passionate about retail. Your responsibilities will include engaging with customers, maintaining store standards, and assisting with deliveries. This part-time role requires availability over weekends, evenings, and bank holidays. Apply early due to high interest.

Skills
As a Temporary Sales Assistant for the Christmas period (ending 4th January) you'll bring energy, enthusiasm and customer focus to every shift. From helping customers with product selections to maintaining the look and feel of the store, you'll contribute to a first-class shopping experience while gaining valuable skills and building your confidence in a fun, fast-moving retail environment.
- Engage with every customer to deliver outstanding service
- Use your product knowledge to offer tailored recommendations
- Support the team in delivering store goals
- Help maintain store standards through stock presentation and replenishment
- Support visual merchandising standards that reflect the Sports Direct brand
- Assist with deliveries and stock processing
- Ensure pricing is up-to-date and accurate
- Support stock counts and inventory accuracy
- To be availablework over the Christmas period is a must (bank holidays weekends and evenings)
