The Communications Officer is responsible for planning, developing and delivering communications across the organisation. This role works collaboratively with staff across all programs to gather information and stories and then shares these through various channels to promote the impact of Centacare NENW in the community. This is a hands‑on role that manages day‑to‑day communications activities including content creation, digital and social media management, collateral development and reporting on communication outcomes.
Since 2001 Centacare, a Social Services Agency of the Catholic Diocese of Armidale, has been a vital part of the local community. We provide a wide range of social welfare services to support individuals, families and the broader community. You’re a natural storyteller with excellent writing and editing skills. You bring creativity, attention to detail and strong digital know‑how, with experience managing social media and content for diverse audiences. You thrive in a collaborative environment, balancing multiple projects while keeping an eye on impact and outcomes.
