Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking a Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. This role involves providing pastoral and classroom support for KS2 pupils who need extra help. You will work a minimum of 15 hours per week during term-time, preferably afternoons. The ideal candidate should be positive, proactive, and dedicated to children's wellbeing. Experience in a school setting is desirable but not mandatory. This is a fixed-term contract until July 2026.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting pupils with additional needs is beneficial but not essential.
- Commitment, reliability and a strong work ethic are key.
Responsibilities
- Provide pastoral and academic support to KS2 pupils.
- Work a minimum of 15 hours per week, term-time only.
- Be available during afternoons, specifically from 12:30 to 3:30pm.

- Providing pastoral and academic support to KS2 pupils
- 15 hours per week minimum, term-time only
- Afternoons preferred (12:30-3:30pm), flexible for the right candidate
- Fixed-term contract until July 2026
- A caring, enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with children
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
