Teaching Personnel is seeking a resilient, empathetic Behaviour Support Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for young people with a wide range of special educational needs and behavioural challenges in one of our partnered specialist schools.
Supporting pupils aged 7–19 with complex Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD), Autism, specific learning difficulties and additional needs. This nurturing school places high importance on wellbeing, consistency, and individualised support. Led by the vision “together we can achieve,” the school offers a collaborative, inclusive environment with a strong leadership team, clear line management, and excellent professional development opportunities including mentoring, peer observations, and regular training.
You’ll work flexibly across all key stages in a hands-on role, supporting learners who may struggle to engage in mainstream settings and helping them feel safe, understood, and ready to thrive. With leaders who set high expectations, address challenges sensitively yet effectively, and prioritise staff wellbeing, the school provides a stable and positive workplace committed to continuous improvement.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
