How would you like to get paid for five days, but only work four? At Outcomes First Group, we believe in better work/life balance – and we’re putting wellbeing first. That’s why we’re proud to be part of a 4‑Day Working Week (4DWW) trial, where you can work one day less each week (or equivalent hours), while still receiving your full‑time pay. Many of our schools have already introduced the 4DWW, and others are preparing to roll it out as soon as they reach full staffing. So, whether it’s already in place or just around the corner, now’s the perfect time to join #teamOFG.
As PE Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that Physical Education is delivered to the highest standards across the school. You will have the opportunity to shape and inspire the curriculum, creating lessons that are engaging, inclusive, and tailored to each pupil’s needs. You’ll lead a department of committed staff, supporting and developing colleagues while promoting a culture of innovation, creativity, and excellence in teaching. Your role will also involve monitoring student progress, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing interventions to ensure all pupils can succeed. Collaboration is key: you’ll work closely with other OFG schools to share best practices, develop the PE curriculum, and ensure consistency across pathways. You’ll also engage with wider school leadership through middle leader training, quality assurance, and strategic planning, contributing to the overall success of the school.
Beyond the classroom, you’ll have opportunities to lead enrichment activities, competitions, and outdoor learning experiences, helping pupils build confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love of physical activity. This role is perfect for someone who wants to make a real difference, lead with creativity and compassion, and have a direct impact on pupils’ lives every single day.
