The Role: Year 3 Teacher

We are looking for an enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join our dedicated team. You will be responsible for inspiring and leading a class of wonderful Year 3 pupils, guiding them through this key stage of their learning journey.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the full primary curriculum, ensuring progression in line with school expectations.
  • Assessing, recording and reporting on pupils' progress, using a range of formative and summative assessment strategies.
  • Creating a stimulating, inclusive classroom environment that motivates and supports all learners.
  • Setting high expectations for behaviour, learning and achievement, promoting positive attitudes and resilience.
  • Working collaboratively with other staff to plan curriculum, share best practice and contribute to whole-school improvement.
  • Liaising with parents and carers to build positive partnerships that support children's learning and wellbeing.
  • Upholding safeguarding and child-protection policies, ensuring all pupils are safe and cared for.
What We're Looking For

You should:

  • Be a qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
  • Have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum, especially in Key Stage 2
  • Be passionate about teaching and learning, with creative approaches to engagement
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Be committed to inclusive education and high standards for all pupils
