Job summary
A leading engineering recruitment company is seeking a Water Hygiene Tech for planned preventive maintenance and testing at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. The role involves ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining water systems in a healthcare environment. Candidates should possess NVQ or C&G Level 2 in Heating, Ventilation, or Plumbing and knowledge of Legionella. The position offers the opportunity for continuous training and a diverse working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment is desirable.
- Legionella/TMV/Disinfection awareness and training.
- Ability to maintain records and logbooks.
Responsibilities
- Conduct water system planned preventive maintenance and testing.
- Ensure compliance with KPIs and safety regulations.
- Perform mechanical craft tasks and temperature monitoring.
