Service & Commissioning Engineer - The Role:
- Commissions equipment on customer sites in UK, Europe and occasionally worldwide.
- Takes full responsibility for Health and Safety.
- Achieves close liaison with on-site contractors, engineers, and customers to ensure successful completion of commissioning.
- Responsible for the training process with customers.
- Attends meetings with customers to provide advice and support.
- Services equipment on customer sites in UK, Europe, and occasionally worldwide.
- Attends emergency service calls and also planned calls to customers.
- Ascertains the nature of equipment problems and ensures that all necessary spares and tools are available.
- Liaison with all levels of client companies through the MD/Owner level.
- Has a good knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations to be fully responsible for Health & Safety of equipment during commissioning.
- Produces clear, concise verbal and written reports on issues where difficulties or disputes have arisen.
Service & Commissioning Engineer - The Person:
- ONC/HNC Electrical or minimum of City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Prior experience within an industrial service industry.
- Skilled in hands-on electrical engineering.
- Fully aware of Health & Safety legislation and requirements.
- Commercial awareness.
- Experience of hydraulics and mechanics beneficial.
