A major teaching hospital in Birmingham is seeking a Consultant Radiologist with a subspecialty in Head and Neck Imaging. This position involves cross-sectional reporting, ultrasound procedures, and participation in a regional MDT. Candidates must possess full GMC registration and relevant subspecialty training. The role includes direct patient care and on-call responsibilities, providing a dynamic work environment and opportunity for professional development.
Applications are invited for the post of Consultant Radiologist with sub-specialty interest in Head and Neck Imaging. There are two posts available, one based at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital and one based at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, part of University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.
University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB) is a major teaching hospital serving a regional, national and international population. The Trust employs around 20,000 staff across 4 large hospital sites and provides services to a large number of patients annually. The posts involve Head and Neck Radiology with cross sectional reporting, ultrasound of the Head and Neck including FNA and core biopsy, and contribution to a regional Head and Neck MDT. An acute imaging/Duty Radiology and on-call component is included.
