Responsibilities

• Deputise for the senior in charge of the unit when required.
• Provide instructions and guidance to patients and their carers.
• Supervise student radiographers and apprentices.
• Support the day-to-day management of patient flow.
• Provide high quality individualised treatment and care to all patients.
• Act with integrity and professionalism at all times.

Skills

Demonstrable experience as a Radiographer

Good experience of working across a range of treatment delivery

Experience of Elekta and Halcyon Linacs

Experience of Brachytherapy

Experience of Toshiba CT

Education

BSc (Hons) Radiotherapy or equivalent

HCPC registration

Evidence of CPD activity
