Job summary

Qualifications

  • Registration with the Health & Care Professions Council is mandatory.
  • Experience as an autonomous practitioner in Clinical Radiography is critical.
  • Students qualifying in 2026 are welcome to apply with an expected start date prior to August 31, 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the provision of multi-modality imaging services.
  • Deliver high-quality radiographic imaging and patient care.
  • Assess and justify referrals under necessary regulations.
  • Ensure accurate patient records and image quality using PACS.
  • Deliver 24/7 services including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Skills

Knowledge of radiographic anatomy and relevant pathology
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Provide mentorship to students and junior colleagues
Knowledge of Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposures) Regulations

Education

BSc Degree in Radiography, DCR(R), or equivalent qualification
Registration with the Health & Care Professions Council
