Your contribution will support the efficient and reliable operation of the site, enabling the continued production of millions of litres of beer and non‑alcoholic beverages, while upholding our site's heritage and sustaining the Heineken legacy.

Core Responsibilities

  • Monitor and seek improvements to conformity and adherence of schedules related to PSSR and LOLER frameworks.
  • Manage work order compliance and ensure maximum plant availability and readiness.
  • Manage embedded contractors in scheduled/routine utilities and facilities inspections, servicing, and maintenance.
  • Work with the Head of Facilities and Head of Utilities to manage the annual budget allocated to Repair & Maintenance (R&M) with proactive ownership of budget controls.
  • Plan and execute shutdown periods, while ensuring all departments receive guidance and support through these periods.
  • Collaborate with Health & Safety and Quality teams to ensure successful external audits related to ISO standards and fire risk assessments.
  • Utilise SAP software and MS Office suite for scheduling maintenance procedures and procurement related activities.
  • Manage contract renewals with regular interface of external customers, clients, and third‑party providers.

You will sit within the wider Maintenance & Services team, working alongside a mix of stakeholders who keep our site utilities running and maintained at their best. Together, you help make sure our brews are made safely, compliantly and efficiently – with sustainability always in mind.

Ideal Candidate

  • Participation in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 audit activities (desirable).
  • HNC or a formally recognised engineering qualification (eg apprenticeship level) desirable but not essential.
