  • Monitor and evaluate the financial performance of the programme, recommending adjustments and corrective actions as necessary.

  • Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the client and reports for the programme, including analysis of key cost drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulatory frameworks, contractual requirements, and internal policies.
  • Facilitate and support external and internal audits; coordinate responses to queries and implement audit recommendations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in cost-plus accounting regulations and standards and ensure continuous process improvement.

  • Act as a strategic partner and subject matter expert to client's Finance, programme leadership, project managers, procurement, and delivery teams.
  • Provide financial guidance and commercial insights to enable effective decision-making and risk management.
  • Communicate complex financial and contractual information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with the Client, suppliers, auditors, and client's Finance.
Risk Management & Continuous Improvement
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and commercial risks across the programme lifecycle.
  • Lead root cause analysis for cost overruns or commercial disputes, implementing remedial actions as required.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives in financial controls, reporting accuracy, and commercial processes.
