Job title: Quality Assurance/Quality Control Engineer

Job Type: Permanent

Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance

Duration: Permanent

Salary/Pay rate/Benefits: Up to £45,000pa

Location: Yeadon - Leeds

Hours of work: 37 hours per week

Applicants must have experience of the following:

1. Full driver's license
2. QA/QC experience in a Steelwork/Fabrication environment
3. Nationally recognised Quality Control certification
4. Experience within medium to large steel fabrication
5. Experience of working in a highly regulated industry
6. Working knowledge of MQP and LTQR requirements
7. Knowledge of relevant British Standards

Ideally, applicants should also have:

1. IT literate
2. Welding experience

Role responsibilities:

1. Review supplier and sub-contractor quality procedures
2. Review manufacturing quality plans
3. Inspect manufactured and supplied items
4. Ensure project quality requirements are met
5. Develop and maintain manufacturing lifetime quality records
6. Arrange 3rd party inspections where required
