Job description

We have an exciting opportunity to work for the fastest growing multichannel toy retailers in the UK. Our client has over 170 UK stores stretched across England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the islands and they are still growing!

They are looking for a Quality Controller who will be responsible for supporting the QA safety and compliance of their toys. This is a new role and will form an integral part of the QA team’s compliance due diligence.

Responsibilities
  • To conduct in-bound inspections and maintain product marking attributes on the system by sku.
  • Ensuring system attributes are updated with product data for Spanish allocation purposes.
  • Implement and manage process for WEEE, batteries and packaging data by product.
  • Due diligence sample weighing for WEEE, batteries and packaging compliance.
  • Set a strategy for product returns and subsequence investigations.
  • Ensure product pack sizes and dimension data on the system is accurate by sku.
  • To implement monthly supplier performance analysis and KPIs.
  • Assist the QA team in product testing and investigations where required.
  • Management and lead in product reworks where needed.
  • Provide support to the warehouse on CE marking requirements.
  • Reordering of labels for the warehouse to enable smooth rework process.
