We are seeking a talented Manufacturing Operations Manager to take responsibility for driving performance at our busy plastic moulding manufacturing facility.
Are you an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager with a plastics moulding background looking for an exciting opportunity to lead a large-scale production team? Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will lead daily production meetings and manage 5-6 direct reports, overseeing a workforce of over 150.
- Lead daily production meetings and ensure alignment on safety, quality, engineering, and manufacturing objectives.
- Manage 5-6 direct reports and oversee a manufacturing workforce of over 150.
- Optimise manufacturing resources, equipment, and processes to meet daily output goals.
- Set and uphold clear standards for manufacturing supervisors, developing their leadership skills and nurturing future talent.
- Support process improvements that reduce manual work and improve operator productivity.
- Plastic mouldings experience.
- Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing facility.
- Technical background with the ability to understand engineering and maintenance issues.
- Experience running daily manufacturing meetings covering safety, quality, engineering, and production objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and engage manufacturing teams to achieve optimised production levels.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
£65,000 + car allowance and pension etc.
