Job summary
A leading logistics company in the United Kingdom seeks a Packing Team Leader to oversee the efficient operation of packing and labelling lines in a non-halal meat production environment. You will coordinate daily activities, maintain high standards of product presentation, and manage packing materials. The position also includes supervising production duties, performing technical checks, and training team members. This is a key role in ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and company initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the packing team to ensure smooth running of the packing and labelling lines.
- Co-ordinate daily packing and labelling activities.
- Maintain high standards of finished product presentation.
- Ensure continuous availability of packing materials.
- Work with maintenance for operational packing lines.
- Carry out technical checks in production areas.
- Train and develop team members.
