Siemens has opened its first UK Rail Industry Hub near Goole, East Yorkshire, initially assembling 80 trains for London’s Piccadilly line and recruiting over 300 skilled staff. With plans to scale production into the hundreds and add maintenance operations, Siemens demonstrates a strong commitment to regional growth and job creation.
We are now looking for an experienced Project Planning Manager to lead the planning activity for Siemens Manufacturing and Commissioning Testing (including System Integration Testing) activities on the Piccadilly Line Upgrade Programme. The role involves carrying out scheduling using the Primavera EPPM P6 Oracle project planning tool.
The successful candidate may be based in London with flexibility to travel to Goole Rail Village for workshops and meetings, or based in Goole with a willingness to travel to London for regular TfL meetings. Occasional travel to the RIDC Test Centre and Wildenrath Test Centre in Germany may also be required.
