We are looking for an experienced IT Engineer to join our Belfast-based team, supporting a variety of clients within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone comfortable working across both break/fix issues and ongoing managed services.
You will be involved in day‑to‑day technical support, system maintenance, and project work, covering a broad range of IT technologies and environments.
As an IT Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical support across multiple client environments
- Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues
- Supporting managed services and responding to break/fix requests
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining IT equipment and systems
- Assisting with system setups, upgrades, patches, and installs
- Supporting networks, connectivity, and general infrastructure
- Following security best practices and supporting backup solutions
- Maintaining clear documentation, reporting, and ticket updates
- Working to agreed service levels and contributing to service improvements
The ideal IT Engineer will have:
- Previous experience working in an MSP or similar fast-paced IT support environment
- A broad understanding of IT systems, hardware, software, and networks
- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience supporting end users in a professional setting
- A proactive and flexible approach to work
- Good communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude
- The ability to manage workload independently and as part of a team
