We’re growing our DV Cleared engineering team to support large‑scale digital transformation projects across secure government and defence environments — helping to build modern, scalable, and secure systems that keep our country safe.

The Opportunity

You’ll be part of a highly skilled technical team designing and delivering digital platforms that drive mission success. This is a hands‑on engineering role where you’ll be developing cloud sidan‑native, con‑atained applications and supporting end‑to‑end solutions — from concept and design through to implementation and optimisation. Working closely-change with multidisciplinary teams of developers, architects, UX specialists and delivery leads, you’ll help define and deliver modern, automated solutions that integrate cutting‑edge technology with traditional military operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality software solutions across the full development lifecycle.
• Build and deploy cloud‑native applications using technologies such as AWS Lambda, Spring Boot, NodeJS, Python FastAPI, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Work within Agile and DevSecOps environments, utilising tooling such as Atlassian, Jenkins, Git紅, OWASP, and AWS services.
• Apply Site Reliability Engineering principles to enhance reliability, resilience, and performance.
• Support technical decision‑making, explaining trade‑offs and best practices to clients and stakeholders.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and technical excellence.

About You

You should have:

• Active UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance – MOD DV or eDV accepted
• Proven software development experience with one or more of Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
• Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices and design patterns.
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams (Scrum or Kanban).
• A proactive mindset — someone who spots opportunities, champions small details, and delivers real value for clients.
