A police force in the UK is looking for a proactive individual to join their Site Facilities team in Bridgwater. This role involves assisting Facilities Officers with day-to-day operations, maintaining high standards across sites, and coordinating the delivery of goods. The applicant should possess a full driving licence, be over 21, and have relevant experience. This position offers both part-time and full-time options, with defined work hours.
Avon and Somerset Police are seeking a proactive and motivated individual to become part of our Site Facilities team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our Facilities Officers to ensure the safe, efficient, and effective maintenance of our premises, grounds, vehicle fleet, and equipment.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with day-to-day facilities operations, helping to maintain high standards across our sites, and coordinating the delivery and collection of goods and equipment between force locations and other destinations as required.

We have two posts available 1 x part time role 29.5hours and 1x full time role 37 hours.
The full time role will be Monday - Thursday (0800 – 1600) & Friday (0800 – 1530).
The part time role will be: Tuesday- Thursday (0800 – 1600) & Friday (0800 – 1530).
Interviews will take place 7th January 2026 at Bridgwater police centre.
To be eligible to apply for this role you must have a 3 year ‘checkable history’ in the UK – ideally this means that you would have been resident in the UK for the last 3 years.
