The Brunton Theatre Trust are looking to welcome two new Technicians to join the team on a Casual basis. Working alongside our full time Chief Technician and Technician, the Casual Technicians will support the team to operate the technical delivery of a range of performances and events in venues across East Lothian, including the Haddington Corn Exchange and Loretto Theatre. This is an opportunity for a Technician to work on a diverse performance programme of activity ranging from theatre to dance to music events. The programme varies throughout the year and a range of dates will be offered each month for the Casual Technicians to accept in line with their own availability.

To assist in the provision of technical services within performing arts venues in East Lothian in accordance with the Councils policies and plans with a commitment to achieve best value.

Relevant Qualifications
A minimum of SVQ1/Standard Grade General level English/Maths or National 4 English/Maths or Literacy/Numeracy or Intermediate 1 Communication/Numeracy and/or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience.

Training in computerised lighting and sound flying systems.
