A major UK healthcare provider is looking for a Sterile Services Technician responsible for decontaminating, inspecting, and sterilising medical instruments used in clinical procedures. A Sterile Services Technician is responsible for the decontamination, inspection, assembly, and sterilisation of medical instruments and equipment used in clinical procedures. The role ensures that all reusable items are processed to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, supporting infection prevention and enabling healthcare teams to deliver safe patient care.
Key duties include operating cleaning and sterilisation equipment, maintaining accurate records, following strict protocols, and working collaboratively within a fast-paced, quality-controlled environment.
