We are urgently looking for a like‑minded and experienced pharmaceutical Technicians to join our team.

Pharmaceutical Technicians play a key role in delivering safe and effective services to the local community.

Your main duties will include:
  • Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and maintaining accurate medication records.
  • Check received prescriptions for legality and accuracy
  • Prepare drugs and medicines under the supervision of pharmacist
  • Label and check medicines for dispensing
  • Maintain patient records accurately on the PMR
  • Provide counselling to customers on the use of prescription medicines and over the counter medicines
  • Maintain adequate stock by following a good stock control and management process.
  • Ensure all controlled drugs are handled in line with the legislation under the supervision of a pharmacist.
  • Manage the work‑flow in an efficient way.
  • Maintain inventory of medications and supplies, restocking as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Complete professional on‑job training under the supervision of the pharmacist.
What you’ll need to have
  • GCSEs/S grades or the equivalent
  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent level of study in Pharmacy (Non‑UK undergraduate degree with ENIC Compatibility statement can be considered)
  • Previous proven community pharmacy working experience for at least 1 year
  • A passion for customer care
  • Ability to coach and lead the Dispensary team
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, drug names, and calculations.
  • Able to work as part of a busy team
