Job summary
A pharmacy in Hull is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join their team. The role involves dispensing medication, managing stock, and ensuring confidentiality. Rowlands Pharmacy are currently looking for an experienced NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services to work as a Pharmacy Assistant in the Hull hospital pharmacy.
- Dispense medication on outpatient prescriptions
- Stock ordering and stock management
- Invoicing and financing deliveries
- All other duties associated with working in a busy outpatient pharmacy
- NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or accredited equivalent course
- Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification
- Evidence of qualifications held will be required for the successful candidate
- Experience in a customer-focused environment
- Strong understanding of confidentiality
- Ability to handle medications accurately
- Able to demonstrate self-motivation with good interpersonal skills
