This role offers a competitive salary of £31.75 per hour PAYE (excluding holiday pay) and £35.58 per hour PAYE (including holiday pay), and is set for a 3-month tenure. Operating Monday through Friday from 07:30 to 17:30 with a 30-minute lunch break, this role promises an engaging and fulfilling experience within a secure environment.

What you will do:

• Provide expert pharmaceutical services to support the health and well-being of inmates, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals and prison staff to design and implement therapeutic drug monitoring and pharmaceutical consultations.
• Undertake medicine management and reconciliation activities to maintain thorough, accurate records and prevent pharmaceutical discrepancies.
• Educate and advise staff and inmates on medication management, promoting adherence and understanding of treatment regimens.
• Develop and enforce protocols to ensure high standards of pharmaceutical care in compliance with both prison regulations and professional guidelines.
