Company Description
Cell therapies have been shown to cure devastating and previously untreatable diseases like cancer by re-programming the patient's own immune system. Giving more patients access to these life-saving therapies requires a revolution in manufacturing and process automation.
Cellular Origins, a TTP Company, is enabling scalable, cost-effective and efficient manufacture of cell and gene therapies. Our technology addresses the challenges associated with manufacturing at scale with an elegant robotic manufacturing automation solution that reduces cost and labour, eliminates human error, and increases efficiency.
Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer, this is a unique opportunity to shape the architecture of an end-to-end automation system that will make advanced cell therapies more accessible to patients around the world.
In this role, you will be a key contributor in defining, decomposing, and managing system and product-level requirements, with a strong focus on traceability and interface management across the development lifecycle. You will lead structured requirements processes-from capturing user needs to ensuring verification and validation-while identifying key technical risks, trade-offs, and interdependencies.
Your responsibilities will include driving the adoption of tools and practices that support compliance with regulatory and quality standards, as well as producing robust technical documentation to maintain system-level traceability and alignment.
As a senior member of the team, you will act as a facilitator for complex, cross-functional decision-making processes, aligning diverse stakeholders around shared goals and clear, data-driven choices. You will track critical decisions and manage unresolved issues across phases of development, from concept to final delivery.
You will also maintain a strong customer and user perspective, helping to translate customer needs into engineering requirements and contributing to the development of systems that meet real-world use cases and expectations. Collaboration will be central to your role, as you work closely with stakeholders across engineering, biology, product, and manufacturing to ensure technical cohesion and alignment.
