Responsibilities
- Assister dans tous les aspects des affaires de deputyship professionnel.
- Gérer une charge de travail de clients depositaires professionnels et laïques.
- Préparer et soumettre des demandes de deputyship à la Cour de protection.

Our client is seeking a Court of Protection Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their team in Birkenhead, Merseyside, on a hybrid basis.
- At least 3 years’ experience handling deputyship files
- Admitted solicitor or legal executive or equivalent
- Good knowledge of law relevant to Deputyship and Court of Protection requirements
- Knowledge of statutory duties relevant to Court of Protection and deputyship files
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Experience managing trauma-led deputyship cases
- Experience working with electronic case management systems
- Experience working with trade unions
- Ability to provide informal guidance to junior staff as required
- Ability to manage all aspects of caseloads, including decision-making and supporting team members' cases
- Assist with all aspects of Professional Deputyship matters, from application to administration
- Manage a caseload of professional and lay deputyship clients
- Prepare and submit lay deputyship applications to the Court of Protection
- Prepare and submit professional deputyship, trustee, and urgent applications
- Provide legal advice to union clients via the free legal advice service
- Liaise with case managers, carers, clients, and their families
