A local government authority is seeking a locum Senior Litigation Lawyer for an initial 3-month period. This fully remote position offers a competitive rate around £55 per hour, negotiable based on PQE. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload, including property and civil litigation, and provide guidance to junior colleagues. Recent experience in litigation is essential.

We are currently working in partnership with a Local Authority based in the South-West, who are recruiting for a locum Senior Litigation Lawyer to join the team for 3-months initially.
The role can be on a fully remote basis, with a rate in the region of £55p/hour UMB, negotiable subject to PQE.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Handling a varied caseload including property litigation, highways and general civil litigation, including debt recovery and judicial review proceedings
- Advising on a range of criminal and civil litigation matters, involving planning enforcement and education matters
- Providing guidance and supervision to junior members of the Litigation team
