Job summary
A leading packaging solutions provider in Doncaster is looking for a Mechanical Engineer. The successful candidate will model and detail parts, specify systems, and provide innovative solutions in packaging design. Ideal for those with over 5 years of engineering experience, a related qualification, and proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD. The role involves collaborative teamwork and the potential for international travel. Overtime availability may be required.
Qualifications
- 5+ years engineering/design experience within the packaging or special purpose machinery sectors.
- Education background in mechanical engineering.
- Experience in robotic end of arm tool design is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Modelling and detailing of machined, fabricated, and sheet metal parts.
- Specification of drive and pneumatic systems.
- Producing design calculations and other supporting documentation.
