Coopman Search and Selection is proud to partner exclusively with a leading quantitative investment firm focused on systematic trading strategies in global markets. The role reports directly to the Head of Operations.

This is a newly created position covering middle and back-office functions. You will support critical daily activities such as processing corporate actions, generating start-of-day positions, reviewing reconciliations, resolving breaks, managing team inbox items, and more. This role is vital as it directly supports portfolio management teams by ensuring accurate positions are available each morning across regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and manage corporate actions across all product types (equities, bonds, etc.)
• Generate and manage start-of-day positions across all product types
• Monitor and resolve reconciliation breaks
• Maintain security master data, data warehouse, and ensure data integrity by reviewing alerts and emails
• Review and override data quality management alerts as needed
• Collaborate with global teams on 24/7 handovers and open items
• Provide backup support for other Operations team members
• Handle ad hoc requests from Portfolio Management, Senior Management, Risk, Compliance, Legal, etc.

Experience Required:

• No prior experience necessary; interest in financial services and operations is essential
• SQL proficiency is advantageous
• Strong multi-tasking skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration across diverse teams and regions
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
