A leading education provider is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant in Erith. The role involves supporting students with Special Educational Needs, assisting with their learning goals, and collaborating with educational professionals. Candidates should hold relevant qualifications and prior experience with SEN students is desirable. The position offers daily pay rates and the potential for long-term engagement.

Education and Training
£85 - £100 Per day
PAYE
1. Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
2. Support the classroom teacher in delivering tailored learning activities to meet the needs of SEN students.
3. Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with SEN to help them achieve their learning goals.
4. Assist with the management of student behaviour and engagement within the classroom setting.
5. Collaborate with other professionals, such as educational psychologists and speech therapists, to support SEN students effectively.
1. Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent.
2. Understanding of SEN strategies and best practises in an educational setting.
3. Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance.
Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
Prior experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable.
1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
3. Patience, empathy, and understanding towards students with SEN.
1. Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.
2. First Aid certification.
1. Work primarily within a school setting.
2. Full-time hours, Monday to Friday.
3. May involve some physical activity and lifting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
