A leading charity organization in Islington is seeking a dedicated Skill Coach to join their dynamic team. This full-time role involves supporting learners with disabilities, developing their employability skills, and achieving workplace progression. Essential requirements include a good understanding of the educational and SEN sectors and GCSE English & Maths. We're seeking a dedicated and self‑motivated Skill Coach to join our dynamic team in Islington on a full‑time, permanent basis (37.5 hours per week). In this crucial role, you'll be the driving force behind our employability programs, including Supported Internships, providing tailored support to learners with SEND. You will be accountable for learner progression in the workplace and achieving outcomes for the learner. You will deliver support in various ways: 1‑1 job coaching, working with learners to develop employability skills and embedding English and Maths learning in the workplace. The role aims to support people to learn the skills they need to go on and achieve sustained paid employment.
Please be prepared to provide evidence of your GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) at the interview stage.
